Residential Services

We are currently in search of a building to open a men's recovery residence.  Clients will live on-premises and work during the daytime (at staff approved job sites) and are expected to attend classes in the evenings.  They will learn the life and job skills necessary to maintain a successful sober life.

After the restoration of lives and families, community engagement is an integral part of our organization.  We know that a strong collaborative community offers health and wholeness on a large scale.  We are constantly reaching out and partnering with every area of our community both for individual and our organizational health.  We welcome any and all organizations to reach out to us for strategic alliances to better serve our community as a whole.

The Crossings Addiction Services, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. It was formed out of a desire to help people break the chains of addictions, and to thrive in recovery for the rest of their lives.  It isn't enough to just work the steps and do the classes.  It is about helping them learn to love themselves and give them hope for a new life,  then giving them the skills necessary to become productive members of the community and restore their lives.  You take you wherever you go, so it is important that clients learn to live and work in their own communities.

After struggling with a 25-year addiction to alcohol and methamphetamine, Duane Porter, co-founder has been clean since June 2, 2006.  He has worked in a residential treatment facility as a life coach and then as an evening manager from 2009 through August of 2017.   His passion to help others who are battling with substance abuse has given him a respected name in the Hardee County Community.  He is welcomed now in the courtrooms where he previously was sentenced.

The Crossings Addiction Services, Inc. utilizes multiple strategies including Peer Support, Evidence and Principle Based concepts, as well as Technology Assisted Care to help our clients reach their full potential and maintain sobriety as part of their aftercare.  LifeROCs is a cloud-based program created by our Vice President and Director of Education & Curriculum, James Rouches.  Please check out the link by either clicking on the name or the picture of the rock below to find out more information.  If interested in more information, please fill out our contact form .
